This innovative program will explore some essential elements of developing student leaders, based on research proclaiming the benefits of empowering students to create a positive school culture and the presenters' experience that a group of committed students can make a difference. The presenters will explain how training students in leadership skills reduced incidents of bullying behavior in their schools, increased ethical behavior, and encouraged courageous leadership. Participants will come away with a comprehensive plan to develop student leaders.
