This session will model how faculty meetings create forums to promote research-based best practice, address closing the achievement gap, practice high-impact teaching strategies, and study factors that contribute to student success. Practical approaches to expanding leadership roles for teachers and identifying principals' actions that foster staff and student learning will be demonstrated. Participants will acquire ways to develop positive school cultures that maximize the collective talents of staff contributing to student achievement. Handouts will be provided.
