School-age children are often described as digital natives. While Internet use is on the rise, so is plagiarism. Are students receiving the instruction needed to become effective information consumers? This and 26,13 issues will be explored in this session within the context of San Diego City Schools' 2004-05 school year implementation of educational resources districtwide. Based on students' experiences using subscription-based resources versus the Web, the extent to which students are native to the 21st century learning landscape will be discussed.
