This session will feature a lecture, photos, and handouts to share the lesson plans and projects used in preschool classrooms in which critical, creative, and metacognitive thinking skills are addressed. The presenters will share transcriptions of the clinical interviews conducted by teachers to show how thinking is assessed and fostered. The session will highlight excellence in practice and outcomes by briefly presenting the results of action research that compares experimental and control groups.
