Change can be a scary situation. Two similar yet different middle schools will take participants on a journey that outlines the rationale and importance of a strong transition program into middle school, the steps and pitfalls of creating or redesigning a transition program, innovative examples of how to entreat and extend parental and family involvement, and the absolutely awesome benefits of helping students start their middle grades career off just right. Initial planning and handouts will be provided to help ensure school improvement and student success.
