An advisory program is a key structure for personalizing learning for every student. However, many advisory programs experience challenges that make advisory time feel like an unfulfilled promise. In this session, participants will assess the current stage of their advisory program design and implementation; identify specific goals; align goals, advisor roles, activities, and formats; and explore nine elements of successful advisory programs. Participants will leave with ideas to create a new program or to fine-tune and strengthen their current advisory program.
