How can universities better prepare students for teaching careers that require mastery of content as well as professional knowledge of creative and effective pedagogy? Frustrated by the regular disconnect between these areas within teacher preparation programs, seven faculty members from two colleges designed a cohort in which students collaboratively participate in curriculum design and delivery. This interactive session will explore this collaborative leadership model and its significant effect on teaching and learning. Handouts will be provided.
