This interactive session will explore strategies for including students with disabilities in a standards-based curriculum that takes the whole child into account. Participants will consider such questions as the following: What does it mean to be a full member in the classroom? What are respectful methods that ensure participation and progress? How may staff maximize social and emotional well-being in the standards-based school environment? How may general and special educators collaboratively support the whole child?
