Discover how a group of reading specialists united as early literacy facilitators (ELFs) and coaches to meet the literacy needs of rural students in McDowell County, West Virginia. In this session, ELFs will share how they have influenced embedded and sustained professional development, innovative parental involvement, dynamic assessments, and extended-year learning opportunities for students. Following a multimedia presentation with handouts, participants will have the opportunity to question the panel of ELFs.
